This series of lighting and power products is designed with output and efficiency in mind.
The
range makes use of high quality circuits that are designed to get the most out of each watt of
power, ensuring that the maximum amount of power is consumed in creating light, and not lost in
creating heat.
Efficiency is what you are getting when you use an OZtrail
performance rechargeable light. Efficiency of the unit in terms of
consuming your stored power, and efficiency in terms of actually
storing the power. OZtrail’s performance lighting range uses
exceptionally high quality circuitry and componentry coupled
with high powered but low power draw CREE LED cells. These
CREE cells produce up to 27 times the amount of light output
from the same power consumption as standard LED. OZtrail’s
performance rechargeable lighting range uses Lithium Ion and
Lithium Ion Polymer battery cells. These battery cells are known
for their high discharge efficiency, up to 90% of stored power,
and their slow self-discharge rate at less than 2% per month,
compared to 30% per month for lead acid batteries. A massive
improvement over generic rechargeable batteries.
